Terms of service

The terms for buying kits and memberships, including food safety, allergens, our alcohol-free assurance and age rules.

Last updated: 2026-07-13

01About these terms

These terms govern your use of gooofdun.shop and any purchase of kits or memberships from GOODFELLOWS OF DUNDEE LTD (trading as Goodfellow Bakehouse). By ordering, you accept these terms. Prices are in USD. Governing law is England and Wales.

02What we sell

We sell shelf-stable bake-at-home kits: dry pre-mixes, portioned keeping-quality extras, baking tools and gift boxes, each with an illustrated recipe card. Kits are ambient-stable and shipped worldwide. We do not sell or ship perishable finished goods, and there is no cold chain.

03Food safety and allergens

Allergens are labelled on every kit page and on the pack. Common allergens present across our range include gluten (wheat), tree nuts, milk, egg and soya. Kits are produced on shared equipment, so cross-contact is possible and a kit may contain traces of allergens not listed as main ingredients. If you have a serious allergy, read the labels carefully and bake at your own discretion.

  • Recipe cards are guidance. Results depend on your oven, ingredients and technique, and we cannot guarantee a specific outcome.
  • You are responsible for food safety, correct storage, use-by dates, and any fresh ingredients you add at home.
  • Follow the storage and best-before information on each pack.

04No alcohol, no perishables

Every kit is alcohol-free. Traditional recipes that would normally use spirits (such as a festive fruit cake) are reformulated without alcohol. We do not ship fresh, chilled or otherwise perishable finished products.

05Age and supervision

Ordering is not available to children under 13. Bakers aged 13 to 17 must have a parent or guardian's consent to order. Family and children's kits are designed to be used with adult supervision, especially around hot ovens and equipment.

06Orders, pricing and payment

An order is accepted when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable or a pricing error occurs. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor's secure hosted page; we never see your full card number. The billing descriptor is GOODFELLOW BAKE.

07Bakers Club membership

Membership is a purely digital subscription (member pricing and content). There are no credits, no stored value and no physical monthly box. Benefits apply within each billing period and do not roll over. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the current period; unused time is not refunded. Kits are always bought individually at their listed price.

08Delivery and returns

Delivery timescales, customs and returns are covered in our Shipping & Delivery Policy and Refund & Return Policy. For hygiene reasons, opened food items cannot be returned unless faulty.

09Acceptable use and content

Your use of the site is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy and Content License. Tools such as the Flavour Finder and recipe scaling assistant are covered by our AI Disclaimer.

10Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our liability for a kit is limited to the price paid for it. We are not liable for outcomes that depend on your own baking, storage or added ingredients.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
